Section 8/Housing Choice Vouchers

Program Information

Program provides a rental subsidy that is portable to any landlord who will accept it.

The rental subsidy covers the difference between rent charged and 30-40% of the participants yearly income. The program is administered by local Public Housing Agencies.

Eligibility

• Residency preference to those who live, work, or attend K-12 school in St. Louis Park

• Preference for those aged over 50 or disabled

• Preference for Veterans or spouse of deceased Veteran

• Must meet income eligibility requirements
