Early Learning Scholarships
Program Information
Helps families afford high quality early childhood programs, including preschool and school readiness programs. The maximum scholarship award amounts vary based on the child’s age, program type, and Parent Aware participation status.
Eligibility
• Must be Minnesota residents
• Must be income Eligible OR
• Be enrolled in an adjunctive program (SNAP, CCAP, MFIP, FRLP)
Income Limits
Families may qualify for an Early Learning Scholarship with household income up to 85% of the State Median Income (SMI). Priority is given to eligible families with household income at or below 47% of SMI. Families with income above the 47% priority threshold may still qualify and receive a scholarship if they meet program eligibility requirements.
